All at the club congratulate the following members for their excellent efforts during the season.
Batter of the Year: Will Ireland for his major contribution to the 1st XI runs. He’s also the leading run scorer in Surrey Downs Division 1. Needs a few more wickets to be considered a proper all-rounder!
Bowler of the Year: Barnaby Harrison. Wonderful achievement in his second full season of senior cricket and a major addition to the 1st XI.
Arthur Phoebe Champagne Moment Award: Ross Sewell for his last over efforts to secure a tie in the last over of the 1st XI league game against Old Woking. This included a cracking six celebrated by those watching on video at the home game as the action was live streamed!
Club Person of the Year: Gary Sewell for his contributions in several areas, including relaunching Sunday games, co-ordinating senior midweek practice, support for fixture completion and general support for the club. Also made a treacherous journey to an industrial estate in Mitcham to retrieve a member’s mobile!
Colts contribution: Craig Stevenson for voluntary support of the TCC All Stars, contribution to junior coaching, and in particular our first U-13 girls’ team.
